Eden Mattress Warranty

At Eden we are happy to offer a 10 Year Warranty on our mattress!

This warranty is void if the Mattress leaves South Africa, if your “Mattress Inners” are damaged and if the Mattress is not used for its intended purpose.

Please read on for details on the warranty.

The warranty is limited to products used in the intended fashion and within the guidelines specified in the FAQs and T&Cs. You need to retain proof of purchase in order to claim on the warranty.

  1. Eden Sleep Innovations will repair, replace or refund (at Eden’s discretion) the defective Mattress or cover.
    • In the event of repair, Eden Sleep shall be entitled to use a different colour and/or design covering material.
    • Should Eden Sleep Innovations replace the defective article, the provisions of sub-paragraph 1, first bullet shall apply. Replacement of one piece will not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.
    • Should Eden Sleep Innovations replace the defective article, the provisions of sub-paragraph 1, first bullet shall apply. Replacement of one piece will not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.
    • Should Eden Sleep Innovations decide to refund, the amount to be paid shall be restricted to the nett price of the article charged by Eden Sleep Innovations to the retailer. Only the defective article will be refunded.
  2. Two years after the purchase date, there will be a service charge of one tenth of the current recommended retail price at the date of complaint, times the number of years in use (plus transport costs), if any. The complete article must be used for the purpose for which it was constructed for the entire period of this service warranty and in the event of any claim the total liability of the manufacturer shall be limited as provided for in 1 (third bullet) above.
  3. Eden Sleep Innovations reserves the right to refuse services upon inspection, should the product be found to be dirty, stained or in an unsanitary condition or when the product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship and materials or when the identification labels have been removed.
  4. The original purchase invoice must be provided prior to any warranty claim.
  5. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
  • Deterioration causing the Mattress to have a visible indentation greater than two centimetres that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Normal wear requires that a Mattress be continuously supported by a proper bed frame, base or adjustable bed base that is sufficient to support the collective weight of the Mattress and user/s.
  • Any physical flaw in the Mattress that causes the materials to split or deform despite normal usage and proper handling.
  • Any manufacturing defect in the zipper assembly of the Mattress cover.
  • Fair wear and tear of the mattress
  • A normal increase in softness of the mattress pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of the Mattress.
  • Comfort preference evolution
  • Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage or stains provided that the defect is caused by abuse or damage.
  • Replacement of any non-defective pieces in the Eden Sleep system (for example, if you purchase a mattress with multiple components and only one component is defective, then we will only replace the defective component).
  • Any Mattress (whether manufactured by Eden Sleep Innovation or not) sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.
  • Mattresses sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the Mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer.

 

To claim on your warranty please email info@edensleep.co.za with proof of purchase and details of the defect in your mattress. You may be asked to provide pictures of the defect.

Envirobase Warranty

At Eden we are happy to offer a 10 Year Warranty on our Envirobase

This warranty is void if the base leaves South Africa, and if the Envirobase is not used for its intended purpose.

The warranty is limited to products used in the intended fashion and within the guidelines specified in the FAQs and T&Cs. You need to retain proof of purchase in order to claim on the warranty.

    • In the event of repair, Eden Sleep shall be entitled to use a different colour and/or type of material.
    • Should Eden Sleep replace the defective article, the provisions of sub-paragraph 1, first bullet shall apply. Replacement of one piece will not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.
    • Should Eden Sleep Innovations decide to refund, the amount to be paid shall be restricted to the nett price of the article charged by Eden Sleep to the retailer. Only the defective article will be refunded.
  2.
